Astragalus Heaven Class Herb
Astragalus is an adaptogen-herb that has been used within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for over 2,000 years. TCM is based on the concept that a vital force of life or energy, called Qi, surges through the body. Any imbalance to Qi can cause disease and illness.
Astragalus is known as a “Heaven Class” herb and listed as one of the top 50 tonic herbs in the TCM pharmacopeia. Astragalus is also one of the primary immune tonic herbs listed in the Western herbal pharmacopoeia.
Although the health benefits of astrgalus is well-established, the herbal active botanicals in astragalus are poorly absorbed when boiled in soups.
